Scope and Contents

In this transcript, Ed Edwin recounts the exchange that he had while attempting to interview Jack Dornen on July 19th, 1966. Edwin explains how he came to contact Dornen and his son. He describes the attempt at interviewing Dornen and why he did not feel comfortable to record or take notes on the interview at the time. Also included is a phone conversation between Ed Edwin, Josephine C. Fabian, and Harold P. Fabian on July 19th, 1966. Edwin recounts his attempt at interviewing Jack Dornen for the Jackson Hole Preserve Initiative. Harold Fabian was the intermediary who told Dornen about Edwin's interest in interviewing him for the project. The Fabians and Edwin discuss the exchange between Edwin and Dornen during Edwin's attempt at interviewing him. Audio contains additional content not found in the transcript, comprised of Edwin's reading of excerpts of a petition that Dornen made regarding the preserve
