Scope and Contents

"The Two-Minute Take" is an episode of the "Memoirs of the Movies" series, produced by Group W of the Westinghouse Broadcasting Company in collaboration with Columbia University's Oral History Research Office. The theme of this episode is the interviewees' experiences acting in short takes. The episode is hosted by Aileen Pringle and features the recollections of Myrna Loy, Henry Fonda, Janet Gaynor, Mae Murray, Melvyn Douglas, Basil Rathbone, Ralph Bellamy, Walter Abel, Roddy McDowell, Nita Naldi, and Rod Steiger
