Biographical Note

Bai Yu was born in Hunan, 1898. He joined the KMT in 1920. He studied abroad in Moscow from 1925 to 1926. He was elected to the Legislative Yuan in 1948. He became a professor at the National Cheng-chi University in 1959 and moved to the US during his late life

Scope and Contents

In this interview, Bai discusses Mao Zedong's early career, his own experiences while studying abroad at Sun Yat-Sen University in Moscow from 1925-1926, and politics in Canton
