Biographical Note

Li Wenbin was born in Yunnan. He served Cai E and Tang Jiyao before 1923. He joined Zhu Peide's (朱培德) force and participated in the Northern Expedition as a division commander. He also fought the communist in Jiangxi from 1928 to 1929, and 1931 to 1932. He also fought in battles defending Changsha during the Sino-Japanese War

Scope and Contents

In this interview, Li describes his involvement in battles during the Northern Expedition and the Sino-Japanese War. The interview ended due to General Li's departure to the U.S.
