Biographical Note

Wang Chongpin was born in Hebei. He was a student leader in Peking National University during the May Fourth Movement and a secretary to Cai Yuanpei. He started working for Wu Peifu in 1924

Scope and Contents

The interview focuses on Wang's insights about Wu and warlord politics from 1922 to 1932
