Princeton, Manhattan Project, 1941-45; polymer technology, teaching at Brooklyn Polytechnic; Herman F. Mark; Fulbright professorship in Holland; 1956 to Continental Can in charge of Central Research Laboratory; general manager of centralized research and development, Chicago; establishing corporate Research and Development for long term technology, 1961; development of Conoweld can, plastic beverage bottles, durable coatings and inks, two-piece cans, enviroend cans.
