Family background and early education, New Jersey and Philadelphia; studies at Philadelphia College of Art, BA 1969, and Rhode Island School of Design, MFA 1972; Fulbright grant to work with Venini glass company, Murano, Italy,1972-1973; head of Department of Fine Arts, Massachusetts College of Art, 1973- ; design work for Daum glass company in France, 1975; reflections on producing, teaching, and selling art, especially glass.
