Scope and Contents

In a conference call discussion, participants discuss the relationship between gender and the statistics collected by the United Nations and others studying international trends. There is a particular focus on statistics about the economic and social activities of women. Some specific topics discussed include the role of women statisticians in shaping collected statistics, the history and development of statistics about women, and the impacts of collecting statistics about gender
