Biographical Note

Tevfik Rüştü Aras was a politican who served as Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey between 1925 and 1938 and as Ambassador of Turkey to the United Kingdom between 1939 and 1943

Scope and Contents

Interview comprised of transcripts for July 1965 and May 1966 interview sessions, tape recording of May 1966 interview session, and supplemental materials. Supplemental materials include portions of April 1966 interview session transcribed in Turkish and English
