Biographical Note

Pál Hevesy (Paul de Hevesy), 1883-1988, was a Budapest-born diplomat who started his career as a foreign ambassador of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and later served as a delegate of post-dissolution Hungary to the League of Nations

Scope and Contents

Cassette includes an introduction from Hevesy's secretary, Edit Szabó, Hevesy's personal recollections, recordings of Hevesy's appearances on Viennese television and on BBC London, and selections of Hungarian music
