Scope and Contents

Diana Trilling interviews James and Elsa Grossman about their shared intellectual scene in New York City, addressing authors, publications, Lionel Trilling, and the nature of Jewish identity. In session three, there is some difference between the transcript and audio. Pages 24-27 lack extant audio, and the audio continues beyond what is transcribed for approximately 15 minutes
