Scope and Contents

The Leftist Women in the Spanish Civil War oral history collection contains twenty interviews conducted by Gina Herrmann with women of various leftist party affiliations who participated in the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939). The collection's narrators are: Antonia Adroher, Angeles Boubin, Teresa Carbo, Tanya Carrasco, Carmen Casas, Dolores Clavero, Rosita Cremon, Manolita del Arco, Antonia Fontanillas, Trini Gallego, Concha Liano, Julia Manzanal, Concha Martinez, Esperanza Martinez, Remedios Montero, Teresa Rebull, Emma Roca, Rosario Sanchez, Eugenia Sanchez, and Antonia Villa
