Scope and Contents

The collection documents the history of various Rockefeller Foundation activities. Interviews were collected independently from each other over the course of two decades. Subjects vary considerably and include foundation administration, public health, plant pathology, and other topics. The collection's narrators are J. Curtis Dixon, John Black Grant, Alan Gregg, J. George Harrar, John Marshall and Charlotte T. Marshall, Flora Macdonald Rhind, Elvin Charles Stakman, Benjamin Earle Washburn, Robert Briggs Watson, and Warren Weaver
