Recordings were collected by the student-interviewers in Professor Jack Salzman's American history course at Hofstra University. Topics addressed include: shop organizing, recollections of factory work, progressive and Communist politics, and members' participation in the Abraham Lincoln Brigade in the Spanish Civil War
