Walter Hoving was Chairman of Tiffany & Company from 1955 to 1980. George O'Brien was Tiffany & Company's Vice President and Director of Design Development

Scope and Contents

In this lecture, Walter Hoving explains the rationale for the Tiffany-Wharton lecture series and discusses the impact of the current dearth of quality corporate design on American businesses. George O'Brien then outlines the important role of design directors in conceptualizing and editing a corporate organization's design aesthetic
