Assistant Director, Settlement Housing Fund

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY in 1939. Education: Radcliffe College, 1961. Lobbied and consulted for urban housing. Settlement Housing Fund assistant director in 1975. Involved with conceptualizing, presenting, lobbying, researching and advocating for Manhattan Plaza. Section 8 (Housing) proposal, changing legislation through an Act of Congress, applied to performing artists. Mix of people as tenants, income levels, rent, and rent prices. City approvals for Manhattan Plaza. Personal views and experiences
