Scope and Contents

Diana Trilling is interviewed by Barbara Crehan and Myron Magnet about literary intellectual culture in the 20th century. Trilling was in the midst of an National Endowment for the Humanities-funded oral history project in which she was serving as interviewer. This interview was intended for Trilling to address topics that she had felt that her interviewees had not sufficiently addressed in their interviews
