Scope and Contents

Lieutenant General Harold Lee discusses his career in the United States Air Force and examines broader military and intelligence issues. He discusses his general philosophies on the war and addresses conversations about the role of the military industrial complex. He discusses Air Force activities during World War II and the Cold War. He discusses the U-2 incident and Gary Powers as part of a longer conversation about the nature of interrogation.
