Scope and Contents

The interviews of this small collection were conducted in conjunction with the completion of a large, multi-decade oral history interview with journalist John B. Oakes. The collection's two narrators discuss their careers in journalism, their involvement with the John B. Oakes Award, and their recollections of Oakes himself. The collection's narrators are Joan Konner and Joby Warrick
