Scope and Contents

This short work features excerpts of interviews from the Saving the Blennerhasset oral history collection. Interviews were conducted by Tom Phillips in 2016 to document the history of the Blennerhasset apartment buidling at 507 West 111th Street in Morningside Heights. The work also features pictures and an introduction by Tom Phillips and an afterword by Myra Goldberg, which provide additional context about the building, neighborhood, and oral history project. Interviewees are Nellie Bailey, Don Colflesh, Wendell Dorris, George Gabriel, Demi McGuire, Paul Niemi, Deland Rivera, and Arthur Weinstein
