Scope and Contents

This transcript contains two group interviews with rank and file employees of Potlatch Forest Industries. They discuss their work from the early 1900s onwards. The first interview is with J.S. Stark, Andrews (first name unkown), and Welo (first name unknown). The second interview is with W.E. Hearn, Bayard Larson, Henry Carl Olsen Hague, Arthur G. Sundderg, and Lew Young. They discuss their work from the early 1900s onwards. Some topics include personal histories, work in sawmills, labor issues, the Industrial Workers of the World (IWW) and American Federation of Labor (AFL), transportation, and personalities in management.
