Educated at Northwestern University and American Institute of Accountants, Chicago; Army experience in France, World War I; early accounting experience; credit department accountant for Continental Can in San Francisco; growth of West Coast operations in the 1930s; West Coast Sales Manager; discussion of management personnel; warehouse receipts and open credit practices; contracts with independent packers; 1950 consent decree, consultant to Continental after retirement.
