These interviews deal with labor and civil liberties during the New Deal, with discussion of the roles of the National Labor Relations Board and the Congress of Industrial Organizations, anti-union practices in industry and agriculture, the functioning of the committee, and recollections of Senator Robert M. La Follette, Jr. (1895-1953).
