education and work experience prior to coming to Science Research Associates, University of Michigan, B.A. 1937, M.A. 1938, Stanford Ph.D. 1940; various occupations, including work with the Army and Air Force; started with Science Research Associates in 1960 as vice president of research and testing; problems with the organization; recollections of Lyle Spencer; company public in 1962, subsequent stock controversy; reorganization of the test division; updating tests; relationship with the authors; the use of computers in testing; industrial testing division; Motorola test case; racial or sexual bias in tests; the National Merit Scholars Corporation; relationship between the test division and other departments; International Business Machines takeover; impressions of Richard Giesen and fellow colleagues; general evaluation of experiences at Science Research Associates; activities since leaving.
