Born in Marash, Turkey, 1918; description of life in Marash: dwelling, community, prepartion of tomato paste and other foods, extended family and leisure; capture of sisters; displeasure of Turkish soldiers against own governmental escape to Aleppo; life in orphanage; study at Webb's School in Beirut; emigration to the United States; early organization of Armenian Youth Federation; adaptation to life in America; remembrance of past memories.
