Born New Haven, CT; education: Oberlin College, M.A. in Jewish Studies Harvard University; career: Lipper Internship Program at the New York City Museum of Jewish Heritage, coordinator of public programs at New York City Museum of Jewish Heritage, chaplain at Jewish Family and Children's Service; 9/11: evacuation of office near World Trade Center [WTC], witness to first tower collapse, ferry to Staten Island; post-9/11: premature return to work, increased sensitivity in respiratory system; WTC memorial; move to Philadelphia, decision to attend rabbinical school, political views, changing attitudes toward Israel, shifting memories of 9/11.
