Biographical Note

Priest; Theologian.

Scope and Contents

Education: Providence College 1966, doctorate in patrology L'Institut Catholique de Paris, Catholic University in Washington D.C.; career: ordained priest in the Order of Dominicans 1973, teacher at theological studium in Washington, D.C. and in Jersey City, promoter of social justice for North American Dominicans, teacher of patrology at the seminary of Seton Hall University; 9/11: description of radio and television coverage, volunteer at burn unit, ministry at World Trade Center [WTC], need for expertise in grief counseling, volunteer experience at the Pierre Hotel for families of Cantor Fitzgerald, reminiscence of noon mass; post-9/11: access to WTC site, experience at St. Peter's [Roman Catholic] Church, communal response to event; role of priests in disastes.
