Education: B.A. psychology; career: amateur artist, real estate management, volunteer work in animal-assisted therapy, training, and testing; 9/11: volunteer work at World Trade Center, Family Assistance Center, coordinating animal rescue work, discussion of role of dogs; post-9/11: use of dogs in post-disaster setting, work with children, role of American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, putting orphaned dogs up for adoption.
