Background: dogs' prior searches and rescues including Oklahoma City bombing, dog training, Federal Emergency Management Agency certification; 9/11: immediate departure to work at Pentagon, description of destruction; Pentagon work: re-training of dogs, rules of recovery and rescue work, Pentagon security, discussion of untrained volunteers, hazardous conditions; dogs' reactions: explanation of moods, methods for obtaining better results.
