Born in India; education: Bachelor of Commerce (India), student politics; moving to US: life in Bronx,; career after moving: Bronx supermarket, family clothing business, employee at and owner of tax business; September 11th: reminiscence of day, traveling to work, witness of events; post-9/11: discrimination, discussion of Sikhs and Muslims, verbal attacks on street, threats at casinos; Post 9/11 family experience: FBI visit with parents, discrimination at son's school, son's and daughter's opinions about Sikh identity and daily life.
