Scope and Contents

Background: born in China, emigration to Queens at age 8; career: owner of Chameleon Comics,; 9/11: at work two blocks from the World Trade Center, witnessed explosion; closed shop, subway to Penn Station, evacuated from Penn Station upon collapse of the North Tower, overwhelmed feelings, walk to the 59th Street Bridge to Queens in order to get home; post-9/11: anxiety over state of store and security for the future; store filled with debris, supportive customers, reluctance to fly, anxiety for the future
