Career: trained as a pediatrician, work for Department of Health and Mental Hygiene on lead poisoning, environmental epidemiology, chronic disease prevention, Community Health Works; post-9/11: coordination of city agencies, site testing, respirator systems, food monitoring, sanitation, mental health consultation, door-to-door survey of Lower Manhattan residents, anthrax attacks.
