Born Brooklyn, NY; career: Hazeltine Electronics, supervisor for New York Telephone Company, Small Business Assistance Project in Chinatown, Vice Commander of New York County American Legion; Finance Officer of Lieutenant B. R. Kim Lau Post 1291 in Chinatown; Air Force service (1950-1954): basic training in Texas and South Carolina, racial discrimination, radio operations, contrast between service and civilian life.
