Scope and Contents

Born 1955 in the Bronx, New York; B.A. Livingston College of Rutgers University, PhD in history: New York University; Newsday reporter and author, 1985-1987; two years history lecturer at Princeton University; fellowship Columbia University Media Studies Center, 1989-90; editor six years: Media Studies Journal and further involvement in media and New York City; delayed commute to work en route to PATH train World Trade Center complex terminal; entrance upon Liberty Plaza near Broadway Street; east side of Broadway observation of the towers and “Double Check” sculpture; present for South Tower collapse and chaotic evacuation from the area; common people to the aid of others; emotional support from family, friends, and students.
